If we could get more fruit from this esteemed vineyard, we would. There really isn't any vineyard like it. This Syrah is perfect for the oncoming darkness of winter and the hot, rich foods that comfort us. This is a big wine with lots of body and tannins...some might say it's a chewy wine. On the nose, bacon and mushroom (earthiness), and a hint of violet. Leather and brambly berries are the main show on the palate. Got meat? Drink this!
